The charity event "We'll Get Older" was organized by Guliko Amilidze, the head of ESFTUG’s Samgori branch organization, the socially vulnerable elderly people who were invited to the event were awarded with food products and other gifts after the end of the charity concert.The power is in unity, it says. The district administration, public schools and kindergartens donated generous donations to the New Year's gifts for lonely old people and poor families.
The event, which was attended by the administration of Samgori district, MPs Giorgi Mosidze and Shota Khabareli, Sakrebulo deputies: Lia Jakhveladze and Guliko Zumbadze. Ms. Nino Burdzhenidze from Tbilisi Kindergarten Agency, Vakhtang Kizikurashvili, Isani district governor, Mr. Davit Kereselidze, representative of the municipality, representatives of the ESFTUG, schools’ and kindergartens’ principals and teachers was held on December 9, 2016 in public school # 152.
Neither the social housing resident remained neglected. The head of the Social Department, Nana Giorgashvili, together with the organizers of the event, visited the families who were unable to attend the event and handed them gifts there.
