On November 26, 2024 the Conference of the Euroepan Trade Union Committe for Education (ETUCE) was officially opened in Budva, Montenegro.
During the two days, European teachers’ unions- affiliated to the ETUCE will unite under the message: “Fighting for the future of public education in a social Europe!”
Together we will elect leaders, define priorities and transform policies for the future.

According to the quotas of the ETUCE statutes, the Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia (ESFTUG) is represented by:
• Maia Kobakhidze - ESFTUG President, ETUCE Committee Member and Chief Delegate of the Conference;
• Marina Alughishvili - ETUCE Executive Vice-President, Conference Delegate;
• Roland Khojanashvili - Chairman of the Professional Teachers' Advisory Council of the Georgian Teachers' Union, conference delegate;
• Tamar Barisashvili - Chairperson of the Didube-Chughureti regional organization of the Georgian Teachers' Union, conference observer;
• Levan Alishanidze - teacher of the Dandalo village public school of the Keda municipality, Chairman of the primary trade union organization of the Georgian Teachers' Union, conference observer.
