ESFTUG welcomes approach of Minister of Education and Science regarding the engagement of the non-governmental organizations in the process of expected changes and the readiness of Ministry of Education on wide public discussions about the novelties.

On December 28, 2016, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jjejelava, presented the main directions of Georgia’s Education and Science development to the representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, working on the topic of education, to the representatives of ESFTUG and to the experts of education.

The Minister’s consistent, deep, on needs and results oriented two-hour presentation on the education system’s development priorities, cooperation and discussion with representatives of non-governmental sector is the clear evidence of the fact, that the Ministry of Education is open and transparent in decision-making process.
