Effective labour inspection, eight-hour working day and protection of the safety norms - the representatives of the Georgia Trade Unions, NGOs and audience 115 demanded today ones again. To celebrate the workers' international day, they organized the peaceful marches.

The president of the educators and scientists free trade union addressed the participants. According to Maia kobakhidze: "The main goal of the International Labour Day was to unite the employees for improving of their labor and social conditions. The mechanisms for fulfilling this goal are solidarity and workers' unions around the world.

In spite of festive mood, we naturally have a question – “how the representatives of different fields, with the joint efforts, can change the employees current situation?" Despite the hard work of the trade unions’ leaders, the situation in this direction changes slowy. A lots of facts are fixed how the employers damage the rights of employed people. Our organization every day takes care for the improvement of the teachers’ conditions, but we have a long way to echeave the desired results and if there will be the teachers' support, then problems will be solved earlier. The overall problem of our country is the low quality of the solidarity.

We all need to be able to change the attitude towards improving other’s hard working conditions. I wish you to have no problems and to have a festive mood on the next International Labour Day.”May 1 – International Labour Day
