Maia Kobakhidze, the ESFTUG President and a member of the ETUCE committee was participating in the two-day online ETUCE autumn session.
On 14-15 October 2013, fifty leaders of education trade unions from the European region, ETUCE Committee members prepared the ETUCE programme, agenda and the Action Plan for the 2024-2028 to be approved at the European Trade Union committee for Education Conference .
In 2024, the 3-day ETUCE conference will be held in Montenegro under the title: "Fighting for the future of public education in a Social Europe", where delegates from the member organisations of the ETUCE will be represented.
ETUCE Committee members discussed the topics of draft resolutions and policy papers, which they will submit to the conference.
The conference will discuss the issues:

The conference will feature workshops on the following topics:

🟩 Development of public education systems (from early childhood education to higher education)
🟩 Human rights and democracy
🟩 Climate change and development goals
