A newly-elected president of ESFTUG - Maia Kobakhidze – plans to renew dialogue with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Today, Ms Kobakhidze will hold the first meetings with trade union leaders.
Following the elections, ESFTUG will conduct multiple meetings with trade union leaders of different fields as well as with the members of Tripartite State Commission. Maia Kobakhidze will hold a conference to talk about the action plan, and an initiative to restore cooperation and dialogues with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. A special announcement about this matter will be made shortly for the media.
Maia Kobakhidze was elected as a president of ESFTUG on 30th October. Ex-president - Maia Ghurchumalidze applied for political asylum status in Canada.
