ESFTUG’s Martvili branch organization’s reporting-election conference was held on May 18. 81 delegates attended the conference and unanimously elected Vivina Dzidziguri as the head of ESFTUG’s Martvili branch organization. ESFTUG’s president, Maia Kobakhidze, Mayor of Martvili Municipality Aleksandre Grigalava, head of Martvili Municipality City Council Aleksi Gabisonia, head of Martvili Resource Center Pasha Gulordava, director of Martvili preschool center Irma Gabisonia, ESFTUG’s Chkhorotsku branch organization Guli Badzagua, principals of Martvili municipality’s public schools and kindergartens attended the conference.

Vivina Dzidziguri is a head of ESFTUG’s Martvili branch organization for many years. Martvili branch organization unites 55 primary organizations with 1079 members. Vivina Dzidziguri presented the report about organization’s activities. She also presented her election program - what will be Martvili branch organization’s tasks and priorities for the next four years. Martvili branch organization will actively continue protection of its members’ social-economic, legal, and professional rights.

The result of her tireless, successful and active work was that the delegates unanimously elected Mrs. Vivina as a head of ESFTUG’s Martvili branch organization for the new term.

The conference delegates and guests were greeted by the ESFTUG’s president Maia Kobakhidze. She thanked head of Martvili branch organization and each member of organization for their selfless work, for their trust, for their contribution in trade union’s development. Maia Kobakhidze, presented 4-year report of ESFTUG’s activities and success. She also talked about the organization’s new challenges, future goals and objectives.

Participants of the conference were welcomed by Mayor of Martvili Municipality Aleksandre Grigalava, head of Martvili Municipality City Council Aleksi Gabisonia, head of Martvili Resource Center Pasha Gulordava, they talked about the importance of cooperation with trade union and about the merit of Viviana Dzidziguri.

Conference was conducted in question-answer format. Delegates and invited guests had the opportunity to ask questions and openly express their opinions.

At the end of the Conference, head of ESFTUG’s Martvili branch organization Vivina Dzidziguri awarded active members with certificates for their activities and special contributions made into the union.

ESFTUG’s president Maia Kobakhidze awarded of Martvili Municipality Aleksandre Grigolava and Chairman of Martvili Municipality Council Aleksi Gabisonia with the certificates for “Protection of democratic values and effective social partnership".
