“Our branch organization is the unity of democratic, fighter, active, intelligent, qualified teachers and educators. We have a lot of achievements and success, we together made many interesting and useful projects and events, but many things we plan to do in future. We will continue to protect our members' rights and interests, to give them a decent and professional working environment, to care about realization of our members’ possibilities. I am in your service, you can trust me” – with these words completed her speech head of ESFTUG’s Lagodekhi branch organization, Nino Lomidze, at the reporting-election conference on April 26.

65 delegates, with ESFTUG’s vice-president, Natia Kordzadze, head of ESFTUG’s education and quality management department Teimuraz Kiknadze, head of Lagodekhi Municipality Karlo Jamburia, head of Lagodekhi Resource Center Manana Chikvaidze, Lagodekhi honorary teacher Elene Nikoleishvili, principals of Lagodekhi public schools and other invited guests attended the conference.

ESFTUG’s vice-president Natia Kordzadze welcomed the delegates and guests and thanked them for coming, for active participation. She talked about ESFTUG’s activities and achievements in terms of improving teachers' social-economic situation, labor and legal rights, professional development and teachers' professional prestige. She also emphasized organization’s priorities which achievement remains as the main challenge.

Conference participants were welcomed by head of Lagodekhi Municipality Karlo Jamburia, head of Lagodekhi Resource Center Manana Chikvaidze, and Lagodekhi honorary teacher Elene Nikoleishvili. All speakers thanked ESFTUG’s Lagodekhi branch organization’s leader Nino Lomidze for her work. Delegates still waged the trust to Nino Lomidze, and elected her as the head of ESFTUG’s Lagodekhi branch organization for 4 year term.

At the end of the conference several members of ESFTUG were awarded with certificates for their activities and special contributions made into the union.
