Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia continues face-to-face meetings with the employees of educational institutions throughout Georgia.

On February 7, 2018 the head of the ESFTUG Organizing Department Maia Esebua and the Coordinator from the same department Anastasia Amisulashvili visited Kareli Municipality. The aim of the visit was development and strengthening of the branch organization and fastening the members and attracting the new members.

The visit was organized by the acting chairman of Kareli branch organization, Tamila Shavdatuashvili. The meetings were held in the public schools of the villages: Urbnisi, Berdzenauli, Abisi, Mokhisi, Kvenatkotsa.

Maia Esebua, talked about the recent news, what trade union do and planned to do for its members’ labor, social-economic, legal and professional rights’ protection. Maia Esebua also explained what the organization is doing for its members’ professional development and for improving teachers' status.

The participants thanked ESFTUG’s representatives for such an interesting and useful meetings.

The visit in Kareli was busy and at the same time quite effective, a lot of teachers, which were not ESFTUG’s members, after the meetings became the members of Union.
