• ESFTUG expresses its general solidarity with the persons infected with COVID 19, self-isolated and in medical institutions, wishes them maximal endurance and speedy recovery.
• SPMTP would like to thank Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control, Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Lugar Laboratory and all medical staff for activities aimed at preventing the spread of the virus.
• The decisions made by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia regarding educational institutions create a sense of peace. To face with dignity the biggest challenge spread around the world, now the main thing is to follow the issued recommendations.

Due to the state of emergency in the country, the Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia (ESFTUG) temporarily suspends the implementation of educational activities and projects, but continues to work to protect your rights and interests. We appeal to you to keep calm and wait for the development of the epidemiological background in Georgia.

Currently, the Georgian government and health agencies are fully mobilized. Their switching to an emergency, twenty-four-hour mode gives us more reason to stay calm.
