The first day of the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE) roundtable was opened by Georgian folk music and dance performed by talented children.

Roundtable participants from 25 countries were welcomed by Social Partners of the Georgian Education System: Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Mikheil Batiashvili and President of the Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia Maia Kobakhidze.
