Innovative methods of mathematics teaching… Promoting cooperative culture development among teachers… ESFTUG "Professional Development Center for Employees in Georgian Educational Institutions" held the first conference for mathematics teachers in Kutaisi on March 12, 2019, within the project “Empowerment and Professional Development of Public School Mathematics Teachers".

 The project was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Mariam Mkalavishvili, director of the "Professional Development Center for Employees of Georgian Educational Institutions" during 5 months throughout the country. The aim of the project is to enhance the professional culture of the basic and secondary school level math teachers. Within the framework of the project, 344 workshops of basic and secondary school level mathematics teachers were held, involving 1402 math teachers in all regions of Georgia. Leaders of ESFTUG county organizations have contributed to the successful implementation of the planned activities within the project. On May 25, 2019, the second conference of math teachers of the public schools of East Georgia is planned.
