    "I want to know what the members are waiting from me! I would like they see a responsible and attentive leader in me, I would like they trust in me ... " - Tamar Dzneladze addressed the delegates and invited guests of the third reporting-election conference of ESFTUG’s Vani branch organization.

ESFTUG’s Vani branch organization’s conference was held on May 26, in Upper Vani Public School. The conference was attended by ESFTUG’s president Maia Kobakhidze, Vice Presidents Mari Alugishvili and Natia Kordzadze, head of ESFTUG’s Kutaisi branch organization Tamar Gabunia, Vani Municipality Mayor Aleksandre Gogorishvili, First Deputy Mayor Goneri Mefarishvili, principal of Upper Vani public school Lia Nozadze, principal of public school №2 Tea Adeishvili and a representative of the organization "Women for Justice" Nana Liparteliani.

ESFTUG’s president Maia Kobakhidze presented organization’s activities report. She spoke in detail about the involvement of organization in ongoing processes of the field of education, about the promotion of professional development for ESFTUG’s members, about ESFTUG’s initiatives, challenges and positive results. The ESFTUG’s president has recalled artificial barriers on membership in the process of restoration of Vani branch organization and urged the conference delegates for actively propaganda of trade union, as each of the delegates were passed a trust mandate from their colleagues and their responsibilities are not less than the head’s representation. Maia Kobakhidze said with regret that, as in the whole society, teachers are also low in civic consciousness and urged them - "strong trade union is created by personally free people."

"Tamar Dzneladze started working in the Vani municipality, in 2014, with a blank sheet. Despite many difficulties, she has won the confidence of the members, has shown leadership qualities and we are relying on Vani branch organization ... "- said the ESFTUG’s president.

The Mayor of Vani Municipality Alexander Gogorishvili addressed the participants of the conference. He spoke about the importance of ESFTUG’s activities at local or state level. "Teachers are people who need great help from the state ... Today the state cares about them. The Education Minister said at the meeting in Vani that teachers deserve adequate compensation because they have a great deal of work ..." - said Mr. Alexander. The Mayor of Vanni called ESFTUG’s activities and the results achieved in cooperation with the government as "extraordinary affair" in favor of the system’s development and stated that "the country has no future if trade union are not at the level, as employees need."

Tamar Dzneladze, head of Vani branch organization, presented the four-year activity report, and accentuated to the activities implemented for the members: professional development training, excursions and educational-cultural and creative activities. SHe noted that more than 38 professional development training-seminars were conducted in which more than 14 public school teachers participated, Ucha Bakuradze, the head of the ESFTUG’s Legal Department, defended the illegally dismissed kindergarten and school teachers and they were restored at work and institutions had to pay the remuneration.

The delegates of the conference gave positive assessment to Tamar Dzneladze's activities and she was elected by the open ballot for four years term as head of Vani branch organization. Following the election of the delegates for ESFTUG’s IX reporting-election congress, Tamar Dzneladze addressed the ESFTUG’s president with a proposal to invite representatives of small primary organizations as the guests at the ESFTUG’s congress.
