 On May 18, reporting-election conference of ESFTUG’s Abasha branch organization was held. The conference delegates, along with ESFTUG’s vice-president Natia Kordzadze, head of Abasha Resource Center Merab Migineishvili, principals of Abasha public schools and kindergartens attended the conference.

Mikheil Zhvania is a head of ESFTUG’s Abasha branch organization since 2014. Mikheil Zhvania presented the report about organization’s activities. He also presented his election program - what will be Abasha branch organization’s tasks and priorities for the next four years. Abasha branch organization will actively continue protection of its members’ social-economic, legal, and professional rights.

Delegates unanimously elected Mikheil Zhvania as the head of ESFTUG’s Abasha branch organization for a new term.

The conference delegates were greeted by ESFTUG’s vice-president Natia Kordzadze. She thanked delegates and guests for participation in the conference, for their contribution in trade union, for their support and confidence. Natia Kordzadze also talked about ESFTUG’s activities, achieved successes, new challenges and future plans.

Head of Abasha Resource Center Merab Migineishvili greeted the conference guests and delegates. In his speech he stressed how important is for educational field employees to be members of their trade union and how important and necessary is a strong trade union. Strength of trade union depends on its members’ activities. Merab Migineishvili thanked representative of public schools and kindergartens for their selfless work and for their contribution in upbringing of future generations. He also wished good luck to ESFTUG’s Abasha branch organization and its head Mikheil Zhvania in future activities.

Delegates and invited guests spoke about their problems and about new challenges in educational field and shared opinions on ways of solving the problems.

At the end of the Conference, head of ESFTUG’s Abasha branch organization Mikheil Zhvania awarded active members with certificates for their activities and special contributions made into the union.
