On December 12, 2017, the leader of Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union Lanchkhuti Branch organisation, Lela Quridze organised the solemn meeting dedicated to Teacher’s National Prize winner, the teacher from Lanchkhuti region, Vladimir Apkhazava.

The president and vice-presidents of ESFTUG, Maia Kobakhidze, Mariam Alugishvili and Natia Kordzadze, as well as representatives of Lanchkhuti Municipaliti participated in the meeting.

The teachers and principals of all Lanchkhuti region public schools attended the event. The teachers presented their creativity and art. This evening was full of positive energy, full of love and respect to each other.

“We are very proud, that the winner of the first Teacher’s National Award – Lado Apkhazava is our colegue, a teacher from Lanchkhuti region and to express our pride, our talented teachers arranged this evening” – said Lela Quridze.

ESFTUG president, Maia Kobakhidze thanked Lanchkhuti branch organisation leader, Lela Quridze and all participants for such a warm, delightful, emotional, creative evening: "I want to congratulate you such a huge success of your friend. I am glad that you all sincerely express your joy and pride, which was caused with Lado Apkhazava’ success. The Teacher’s National Award is a major step to enhance teacher’s prestige and our organization will do everything in order to raise teacher's authority and to be protected your rights“ - said Maia Kobakhidze.

Lado Apkhazava, with his usual humility, thanked ESFTUG Lanchkhuti branch organization’s leader, Lanchkhuti Municipality Public Schools’ teachers and all invited guests for their love and warmness. He remembered the activities carried out by the trade union, in which he actively participated. He spoke about the trade union’s role and importance in the case of employees ' interests and rights: "The fact that the teachers of our region so love each other and have mutual respect to each other, is the merit of Lanchkhuti organization’s leader, Lela Quridze. Thanks to Mrs. Lela, thanks to the organization's President, Ms. Maia, thanks to all of you for this unusual evening“ - said Vladimir Apkhazava.

The leitmotiv of the festive evening was the wards of Lado Apkhazava – “All teachers are ivolved, all teachers are the leaders”.
