182 SKOLAOn March 6th, 2019 the Danish Stenhus Gymnasium teachers and students visited Gogita Kiknadzd Tbilisi public school N: 182. Guliko Amilidze, the chairperson of ESFTUG Samgori county organization, coordinated the visit of guests. The ESFTUG Executive Vice-President, Mari Alugishvili, Head of the Education and Quality Management Department Temur Kiknadze and Coordinator fo Public Relations Department Nanuka Giorgadze attended the meeting. Danish guests and Georgian hosts were actively involved in the activities planned by the school principal Eka Tabuashvili. The activities were divided into three parts to familiarize the guests with learning/teaching eviroment. Nana Natidze, school mathematics teacher conducted an integrated math lesson with modern and innovative techniques involving Danish students, which led to great interest in students. Danish and Georgian students together, successfully solved with math problem offered by the teacher.  With the facilitation of the English language teacher, Elza Rukhadze, the dialogue between Danish and Georgian students was held on various global issues. The Danish guests got acquainted with the Georgian alphabet, culture and fragments of Georgian history. The Danish and Georgian students tried to teach funny Danish and Georgian words to each other. Ekaterine Tabuashvili, the principal of Public School N182 spoke about the ongoing project. The students of this school work on a project “"Together for a Better Future." The project responds to the UN adopted document on sustainable development goals, which should be completed by 2030.  "Caring for the world is the duty of every citizen," says the principal of Public School N182. The activities presented by the school were informative, interesting and fun for Georgian and Danish students.  "Our main goal is to support student-oriented teaching. This day showed us once again, that our mission is being fulfilled. Our teachers are always in the process of developing novelties, keep up with all initiatives in which the friendly environment of the school helps them especially. - Said the ESFTUG Executive Vice President Mari Alugishvili. The representatives of the Samgori municipality council were present at the event. The last part of the event was held in the school assembly hall. The staff of the Public School N182 hosted the Danish guests with traditional Georgian cuisine. The guests were so fascinated by Georgian folk dances and songs that they tried to dance together with their peers. The meeting took place in a warm, emotional, friendly atmosphere. The future cooperation between Danish and Georgian students and various project activities have been planned. The ESFTUG thanks GulikoAmilidze, the chairperson of Samgori county organization and Ekaterine Tabuashviliprincipal of Gogita Kiknadze Tbilisi Public School N182.
