24 SKOLAAAOn March 6, 2019, students of Tbilisi public school N24 hosted the students of Stenhus Gymnasium of Denmark. Tbilisi public school N24 is the one where Ms. Tamar Barisashvili, the chairperson of Didube-Chughureti regional organization, teaches along with other professionals.With the help of the ESFTUG, a bridge of educational exchange has been built between the Stenhus Gymnasium and Tbilisi public school N24. Tamar Barisashvili, with the help of the headmaster of school N24, Giorgi Kakabadze and the students of grade 9B conducted the program of the visit.On 6th of March, Natia Kordzadze, the vice-president of ESFTUG and Melania Darakhvelidze, the head of finance department visited the public school N24 Along with the Danish students. ” We are glad, that we could be a part of this day…It is a very free, goal oriented, progressive generation. we are proud of our future generation, of their teachers…The program included an introduction to the school life, Georgian history, culture, traditions and the objectives of the country. Despite the limited time, the younger generation received an unforgettable experience.”Said Natia Kordzadze, the vice-president of the ESFTUG. The students of public school N24 left memorial notes for the school: Nikoloz Elizbarashvili -"I talked about the school’s history, the success and the innovative methods, programs and projects that the society of our school- teachers and students made happen. I was happy, that Danish students found our activities interesting and impressive.We talked about the future perspectives and the exchange projects that are to be held between us. With this meeting, we built a bridge of an educational exchange."Ana Mamniashvili-


"Our literature club“Tsero 24” has prepared various educational events.Each of them filled us with deep feelings and unforgettable impressions.Among such events, the meeting and discussion with the Danish students were very special. During this visit, we had an opportunity to present our country, its culture, traditions, past and present. We made the guests want to come back to Georgia again. We talked about historical truth and current problems. Of course, we could not avoid the matter of occupation- the pain of Apkhazeti and Samachablo. I, as one of the witnesses of the horrors, tell the world: “Piece is the symbol of happiness.” Nino Todua-"The guests attended an English lesson. The topic of the lesson “Georgia between Europe and Asia”, we came up with our teacher.So we could not avoid talking about the location of our country and the ecological and Geographic climate, The steps of its development, characteristics and, of course, the mission of Georgia in the civilized world."Lika Shakiashvili-"Modern world is more open and transparent. For cognition, education, cultural relations and sports competitions. Older generations often point out, that the generation of 21st century is far more free and prospective…The listening culture and the ability to adapt to foreign environment are the impressive qualities of our Danish peers. I, as the student-coordinator of the literature club “tsero 24”, had to cooperate with them with a special load. I presented our activities of 2017-2018 years:“21st century and Lagodekhi reserve” , Kalandoba 2018”, “ Ekvtime Gvtiskatsi and public school N24”, “Sergo Parajanov- director of world importance.” The variety of presented projects impressed, and one could even say enchanted our guests.” As they mentioned, they did not expect so much and we could not finish the club activity without Georgian dance and music, moreover that we wanted to present the performing culture of Gogi dolidze.The discussion between students continued in informal environment.We hope, that the partnership between the schools will deepen. ESFTUG expresses its gratitude towards the management of public school N24, its teachers and students for making this day happen. The visit of Danish teachers and students was a component of the ESFTUG and GLjoined project called “Advocacy of Education Policy in Georgia and Development of Democratic Management Skills in Schools in cooperation with the ESFTUG."This project has been progressing since 2017. ESFTUG deems promoting the involvement of students and teachers in the development of the educational policy in schools especially important.
