 Shorena Gavasheli, head of the Adigeni branch organization of the ESFTUG, has been serving the members of the Adigeni region for many years. Despite numerous obstacles and challenges, in recent years she has strengthened the regional organization with the support of the ESFTUG’s leadership.

By 2018, the ESFTUG’s Adigeni branch organization unites employees from the 60% of public schools and more than 80% of the preschool institutions.

On October 1 of this year, at the reporting-election conference of the ESFTUG’s Adigeni branch organization, Shorena Gavasheli summed up the activities of the 2014-2018. The conference was attended by the delegates, vice president of the ESFTUG Natia Kordzadze and Ketevan Vadachkoria, head of the ESFTUG’s chancellery.

Delegates of the Adigeni branch organization’s conference have listened to the presentation of the activities of the ESFTUG in 2014-2018, presented by ESFTUG’s Vice-President Natia Kordzadze.

As a result of open discussions the conference delegates have agreed together with the Action Plan presented by Shorena Gavasheli, the main priorities of which are professional development and promotion, advocacy of labor, socio-economic rights, and raising public awareness of the employees. Facilitating the strengthening of local primary organizations for the purpose of establishing trade union activities.
