On 7 July 2018, at the end of the 2017-2018 academic year, the meeting of the ESFTUG’s collegial body-executive council was held on the base of the ESFTUG’s Teacher's Training Center in Tskneti.

The ESFTUG’s President presented the Summary information to the ESFTUG’s Executive Board on the reporting-election conferences conducted by the ESFTUG’s Regional / City and Adjara Autonomous Republican branch organizations; ESFTUG’s leaders discussed the current issues set by the Delegates of the Conferences of Structural Entities to determine further strategies.

The collegiate body of the ESFTUG discussed the resolution of the Board of the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation (GTUC) - "Information about the activities implemented by the ESFTUG for the purpose of raising the motivation of the ESFTUG’s members employed in educational institutions".

It is noteworthy that ESFTUG’s President Maia Kobakhidze presented a detailed information to the heads of sectoral organizations on July 5, 2018, at the Board meeting of Trade Unions Confederation. According to the 5th July GTUC’s resolution N: 5-3, leaders of the trade unions and GTUC’s board members gave high assessment to the work done by ESFTUG and announced their support.

Members of ESFTUG’s Executive Board discussed and approved the topical issues related to the ESFTUG’s IX reporting-election congress and the plan for the preparation of the congress.

They also elected the preparation committee of ESSTUG’s upcoming congress.

After reviewing the issues envisaged by the agenda of the ESFTUG’s 7th July’s #76 meeting, the ten resolutions were approved.
