Senior teachers who would have had their status revoked by the end of January but failed to meet the deadline will be able to correct their research and re-register for external observations. Maia Kobakhidze, President of Education Trade Unions, told Etaloni.ge:

“Our organization conducts activities based on the needs of teachers of all categories; For senior teachers who failed to meet the deadline until the end of January to raise their status, a new normative act will be drawn up and new deadlines will be set for career advancement.

We have reached an agreement with the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, and this agreement is as follows: A transitional provision was developed and such teachers were granted benefits in it. They will be able to rectify the research after January and register for external monitoring. "
