It has become a tradition to celebrate the career advancement of Georgian teachers together with Danish colleagues. During the four-day seminar, an informal environment was created at the ESFTUG Tskhneti training center to better connect Danish and Georgian teachers. 

Among the direct beneficiaries of the training “Formative Assessment and Feedback Culture” were four principals: Manana Batsikadze of Tbilisi public school N84,  Khatuna Pailadze of Samtredia public school N1, Lia Padarashvili of Tetritskharo municipality Koda public school and Maia Aleksandria of Khobi municipality Kariati public school.

On November 16, 2019, at the festive Dinner, ESFTUG President Maia Kobakhidze thanked all public school principals involved, for their support of the Danish-Georgian project.

Nine participants of the seminar were given the status of senior and leading teachers. Maia Kobakhidze, congratulated them on career advancement by presenting symbolic gifts. At the beginning of the seminar, she thanked Manana Kapetivadze, the teacher of Baghdati Public School N2, the winner of the National Teacher Award-2018, for her involvement in the Danish project and for her work in enhancing teacher authority. Maia Kobakhidze also congratulated her on receiving the status of a mentor.

Among the participants of the second seminar of the second phase of the project were Lela Kuridze, Chairperson of ESFTUG Lanchkhuti county organization and Guranda Gogoladze, Chairperson of ESFTUG Tetritskaro county organization, who are also successful teachers.

At the end of the event, Maia Kobakhidze gave Catherine Lønholdt and Lis Rydahl Eilertzen symbolic gifts for their hard work.

The festive dinner also served as a presentation of Georgian traditions and customs.
