On March 30, 2019, the conference of Tsalenjikha County Organization of Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia was held. ESFTUG President Maia Kobakhidze presented a 4-year report of the organization's activities to the participants of the conference and discussed current reforms in the educational system. In order to restore the Tsalenjikha county organization, the elections of the chairperson were held in which two candidates participated: Tamar Kakachia and Zaira Shelia. A total of 86 delegates took part in the voting, 54 of which were in Tamar Kakacia’s favor, a teacher of Georgian language and literature.

The conference was attended by the ESFTUG President Maia Kobakhidze, ESFTUG Executive Vice President Marika Alugishvili, Natia Kordzadze, ESFTUG Vice President of Finance Department, Maya Esebua, ESFTUG Head of the Organizational Department, Ketevan Vadachkoria the Head of the ESFTUG Chancellery, Lira Ghurtskaia, Head of the Municipal Educational Resource Center of Tsalenjikha, Nato Kvaratskhelia, Head of the Preschool Center of Tsalenjikha Municipality.

The below listed chairpersons of the ESFTUG Samegrelo county organizations gave solidarity and support to the Tsalenjikha regional organization and attended the conference: Chairperson of Zugdidi County Organization Tsira Gulua, Chairperson of Senaki County Organization Mamuka Kuchava, Chairperson of Khobi County Organization Lali Chaitaia and Chairperson of Poti Regional Organization Inga Gvasalia.

The Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia congratulates Tamar Kakachia on being elected as the Chairperson of the Tsalenjikha County Organization and wishes her success.
