"We are deeply convinced that abolishment of school exams will disrupt the role of the school, discourage students from motivating and lead to negative processes in schools. More importantly, the “Institute of Tutors” will be strengthened only in the school subjects that are obligatory for national exams.

"The Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia joins the passion of the society in connection with the vision and principles of the reform announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport. The general and vulnerable are the statements made by the Ministry on the pay of the teacher of the public school and the initiation of "teacher activity, professional development and career advancement" scheme. Also, we can not understand why we return to the same approaches as it was in 2005-2010 when school graduation exams were canceled. The results were so catastrophic that the previous government was forced to revoke its decision and reestablish the school graduation exams as a school examination exam.

From other perspectives of future reforms, we come back to the same circle that we passed in 2004-2010. Probably all this is caused by the fact that the main ideologues of the new reform are mainly members of the same team who started and implemented education reform in 2004.Naturally, the question – Will cancellation of exams and other aspects of the announced reforms of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport help to enhance the quality of teaching and teaching in schools that should be the main goal of the reform?.We are deeply convinced that abolishment of school exams will disrupt the role of the school, discourage students from motivating and lead to negative processes in schools. More importantly, the “Institute of Tutors” will be strengthened only in the school subjects that are obligatory for national exams.

"Taking into consideration today's reality, there is no competition in higher education institutions (except some faculties) and the number of applicants announced by the universities exceeds the number of applicants, and categorically unacceptable for us to grant universities the right to define the barrier.I express the opinion of the absolute majority of the teachers' society, call on the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport to deeply analyze all the aspects of the reform priorities and do not rely solely on the so-called " Experts' opinions supported by all the reforms implemented in the education system over the last 15 years. The issue is relevant to the future generation of our country and nobody has the right to make more mistakes.Educators and Scientists Free Trade Union of Georgia
